What to Expect
Your first appointment, step by step
Your doctor will listen to your concerns, examine the areas involved, and explain your care options.

Tell us what brings you in
First, we discuss your symptoms, health history, daily activities, and goals. Let us know what you hope to improve.

Complete a focused exam
Next, your doctor checks the areas related to your concerns. The exam may include movement, posture, strength, reflexes, or a Chinese medicine assessment.

Review your options
Then, we explain the findings and discuss care that fits your needs. You can ask questions and share your preferences.

Begin care when appropriate
If treatment is appropriate and you agree to proceed, care can begin at your first visit. Your doctor will explain the recommended approach before starting.

Answers before you arrive
For other questions, call or text our office.
What services are available?
We offer acupuncture, gentle chiropractic care, myofascial release and massage, cupping, Chinese herbal medicine, and Kinetic Pulse Wave. Other options include Gua Sha, ear seeds and auricular care, and optional aromatherapy.
Your doctor will recommend services based on your needs. Not every service is appropriate for every patient. Chinese herbal capsules are purchased separately.
Will I receive treatment at my first visit?
Care can begin after your evaluation when treatment is appropriate and you consent. Your doctor will explain the plan and answer your questions first.
Can acupuncture and chiropractic care be combined?
Yes, when appropriate. Our doctors can coordinate both services within your care plan. The recommended combination depends on your concerns and examination findings.
What if I am nervous about treatment?
Please tell your doctor before care begins. We will explain the options and discuss your comfort level. You can ask questions or request a pause at any time.
Can I book a massage on its own?
Massage is available separately. It may also be included as part of coordinated acupuncture or chiropractic care. Contact our office for booking options and fees.
How many visits will I need?
The number of visits varies. Your doctor considers your condition, goals, and response to care, then adjusts the recommendations as you progress.
Can I request fragrance-free care?
Yes. Aromatherapy is optional, and fragrance-free care is available. Please let our team know your preference before treatment.
How do I check my insurance?
Submit your insurance information before booking, or call our office. We will review your benefits. Verification does not guarantee coverage or payment.
