Dr. Joy HsuehBoard Certified Doctor of Chiropractic Licensed Acupuncturist |
Dr. Chang-Huei Joy Hsueh was originally from Taiwan and immigrated to Canada when she was in high school. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Psychology.
She has always wanted to be in the health care field since she was a little girl. She was attracted to the alternative medicine from a childhood experience. Her mom was unable to sleep at night and suffered from excruciating pain due to a severe Cervical disc herination. The western doctors prescribed pain killers that did not help. After a few sessions of adjustments and home excercises from a chiropractor, her mother improved dramatically and was able to finally sleep. After seeing how alternative medicine was able to help her own family, she devoted herself into the field of chiropractic and acupuncture. She hoped that she could help more people with her own hands, just like her mother benefitted
Dr. Chang-Huei Joy Hsueh received her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. She is on staff as Associate Faculty for the University. She has helped train many interns in their goal to become doctors.
